Today is Emily’s 5th Birthday! I can’t believe how the time has flown by. We had her family birthday last weekend and tonight I am taking her to Disney on Ice.
100 Days of School, 200 Days until Disney, and 6 Weeks of Winter.
Today is Emily’s 100th Day of school. We practiced counting to 100 last night and she brought 100 stickers in with her today. They were making a 100th Day Party Mix with M&Ms, mini marshmallows, goldfish crackers, Fruit Loops, etc. I’m sure Emily will be on a sugar high when she gets home! Our website ticker says we have 200 days until we go to Disney World! Dining reservations open up at 180 days, so I have to start working on our trip plans. We still haven’t been to Chef Mickey’s, so that’s at the top of the list.
It’s a cold, but sunny day today and the groundhog saw his shadow. Six more weeks of winter. Let’s hope we skip spring and just get right to an early summer!!
This month has flown by and we didn’t really do anything?! Both girls have been sick on and off all month and I think I spent at least 2 weekends at the pediatricians. Emily and I went to see Alvin & the Chipmunks which was really cute! Chloe had her first ride on the big Merry-Go-Round at the mall. Her hair is getting long enough for pigtails!
The weather has been cold and wet – both snow and rain. I can’t wait for summer and I’ve already starting planning our vacations and our big Disney trip! We’ve been doing lots of art projects and Emily is doing great with her writing and drawing!
